Camden Market

Oh the grunge of Camden. It isn’t a place I go often due to its distance from my flat, but when I do it sends my artistic side spinning. It’s full of life with wonderful colors, smells, people, tattoos, piercings, spiked hair, etc. It’s basically a place for rebellion. Kids in their 20’s who broke free from the strains of mom and dad to come to London and find their own identity; from dyed pink and purple hair; to wearing huge, platform shoes that adds 12 extra inches to their frame with dog-collar spikes. I’m not one to take pictures of people, but if I wanted to start doing portraits, this is definitely the place I would go. Most people would feel out-of-place in Camden, but I love it! Not to mention, they have great, cheap stuff if you’re willing to look for it. And if your hungry, you can find heavenly food stalls from all over the world.
