Brompton Cemetery

Why oh why did I wait until the weekend before I left London to go to Brompton Cemetery?!?  Not only was time limited, but it was raining something terrible.  Ever try to hold an umbrella and take pictures at the same time? Doesn’t work too well.  Eventually, I punted on the umbrella, got soaked, spent an hour under a tree feeding squirrels granola bars, and managed to take lots of water-spot photos.  However, I did manage to capture some that were salvageable.  So, needless to say, Brompton Cemetery is on my list of London things to do when I go back…just when the weather is nice and I have hours (and I mean hours! the place is huge).  Here are some from this year’s trip:

  1. Beautiful photos. It’s looking more lush and green than I remember it. And I had to laugh at the line about feeding the squirrels granola bars. Reminded me of you with the ducks at Riva in Amsterdam!

    • Haha! Yes…I love animals! Thanks! I was surprised on the color as well, but I think the rain added to it. Some of the green aspect in the photos surprised me as well, but I did enhance the color on the camera.
