I feel most at home in London’s little area called Greenwich. It is where I went to school and spent most of my time when living in London. It has a small village feel to it, and you can rest assured that your favorite store or restaurant will most likely be there when you return a year later. While time flies past you in the city center, there is a moment of calm in Greenwich that I haven’t found in any other part of London; where time is a little sweeter (though not as sweet of Tennessee); where you can enjoy a pint or coffee a little more relaxed rather than feeling the need to rush to the next stop like you do when you spend time in the city center.
